theprintspace is the first DIY professional photographic printing studio in London. The ethos at theprintspace is to give the creative control back to photographers by giving them the ability to produce their own professional prints on the highest specification digital printers using retouching booths with the latest professional Mac Pro’s & professional imaging software.Colour management is of major importance at theprintspace, screens are calibrated and bespoke profiles are built & maintained by in-house colour specialist, ensuring accurate soft proofing from the screens and optimum print quality. Profiles are available to download from theprintspace website, enabling photographers to prepare their image files on their own system and order prints remotely with confidence.
A full range of professional print types are available; digital silver-based prints on Fuji Crystal Archive papers, Epson Giclees on Epson & Hanhemuhle papers and CMYK proofs and as a result of the DIY ethos the print prices work out to be really low, for example a 12” x 16” silver-based print on Fuji Crystal Archive paper costs only £6.50 + vat.
