 AOP Assistants Awards
The AOP Assistants Awards annually showcase the best images from the next generation of professional photographers. The competition is open to fully paid-up Assistant Members of the AOP. If you are not a member, but would like to join, please click here for further information. Success in the Assistants Awards often results in the Assistant making the leap into professional photography and winners of the AOP Assistants Awards regularly go on to win at the AOP Photographers Awards. This year, entries can be submitted online here . Closing date is Sunday 19th July. Successful entrants will have the opportunity to use theprintspace to produce their exhibition prints at a discounted price. The 2009 AOP Assistant of the Year will win:
- A commissioned job with MOT Models
- £1000 worth of insurance for one year with Towergate Camerasure
- Equipment hire from Direct Lighting / Metro Imaging
- A day’s studio hire from Street Studios with free lighting
The Assistants Awards Exhibition will run from 6th – 16th October and this year’s Awards Ceremony will take place on Tues 6th October. The Assistant Awards catalogue will be launched on the night.
