Luke Smith has been crowned the AOP Student Photographer of the Year 2010. Smith will receive a double page spread in the 2011 AOP Photographers Awards book, a day’s work experience with a high-profile AOP member, plus extensive press coverage. As if that isn’t enough, we may also use his winning images to promote the AOP Students Awards and AOP Student membership in the following year.

This year the judges awarded two Merits; the Merit Winners are Richard Monje for his single image and series of images in the Landscape, Exteriors & Interiors Category and James Hobbs for his shots in the Landscape, Exteriors & Interiors Category and the Still Life Category. Judge’s choices went to Marianne Bjornmyr, Konstantins Suslovs, Song-Nian Ang, Antonina Dolaniecka and Jameson Kergozou. Plus all finalists have their winning images on show until 20th May, as well as being the main feature in the Students Awards Book.
