The AOP Open
The photographic competition that’s open to everyone!
From professional photographers to assistants, students and occasional snappers, this is the contest where everyone competes on a level playing field. The aim of the Open is to acknowledge excellence in photography through a diversity of styles and subject matter. This year the Open celebrates its 10-year anniversary and each year it attracts approximately 3,000 entries from around the world!
So whether you’re a professional photographer, a photographer’s assistant, a photography student or a keen amateur who’s taken a picture you’re particularly proud of… we want to hear from you!

The AOP Photographers Awards Book 2009 is THE photographic book of the year. It costs £35 for non members and £25 for members (plus P&P).
